Studio Policy
Studio Courtesy:
- To ensure the student receives a full lesson, please come 5 minutes before your lesson time. If you arrive earlier than 5 minutes, please wait until it is 5 minutes until your lesson time.
- If you have questions, please ask before or during the lesson. Do not take up another student’s or the teacher’s time after the lesson.
- Please respect the teacher, the other students’ lesson times, and the studio building/appliances.
- Students should arrive with all necessary music and materials.
- Siblings and friends are welcome on a limited basis and only at the teacher’s discretion.
Parent Involvement:
- Learning how to play violin/viola is a hard and difficult task, especially for smaller children. So, I highly recommend and encourage parents to be involved in their child’s music journey. Or, if you are a student, I highly recommend and encourage you to take your lessons and practice sessions seriously.
- A parent’s interest and appreciation of the student’s effort is extremely important. It is a combined effort of the student-parent-teacher relationship that will produce the best results in music education.
Lesson Policy:
- Lessons that are canceled or rescheduled on the day of the lesson will be non-refundable.
- If a student arrives late to a lesson, the lesson will be counted/charged for the original lesson time.
